Kissimmee, FL is the largest City of Osceola County, Florida. It is 23 miles south of Orlando, FL. It’s defined by its proximity to the region’s multitude of amusement parks, including the massive Walt Disney World Resort complex. The city is 12 miles southeast of Walt Disney World. The city lies along the northwest shore of Lake Tohopekaliga (nicknamed Lake Toho), and its verdant Kissimmee Waterfront Park encompasses walking paths, playgrounds, and a fishing pier.

Touristy Kissimmee is generally the stretch east and west of town along US-192 that extends through Kissimmee from St. Cloud and west to the Disney resorts. This route is a never-ending parade of neon lights, gift shops, motels, restaurants, smaller tourist attractions, and other businesses heavily traveled by tourists who enjoy more reasonable dining and lodging prices than what they can get at the Disney resorts.

Winter Park, Florida, in Orange County, is 4 miles NE of Orlando, Florida (center to center) and 81 miles NE of Tampa, Florida. The city is an upscale town of about 30,000 people in the heart of Orlando’s urban area.

Winter Park is a lovely city that offers numerous activities that would entertain people with varied tastes, from museums to beautiful parks. Its main street, called Park Avenue, is located in the middle of town. It includes art galleries, civic buildings, retail, a private liberal arts college (Rollins College), museums, a park, a train station, a golf course country club, a historic cemetery, and a beach and boat launch. Some great festivals, like the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival, are also held in this area. In addition, an exotic car show is held every October at Central Park.
